Xoxo

Gossip Girl is my apsolute favourite. If I EVER got to go to New York It would actually be a dream come true. Imagine walking through the Upper Eastside and seeing all the rich people in their nice clothes...

It would be amazing.

So, to you Gossip Girl. May season 4 be everything we hope for.

I am particularly looking forward to Clemence Poesy joining the cast.

Ohhhhhh Ed! You are actually the most wonderfully handsome man ever.

Check out Jessica Szohr's style here.  Actually love it.

I love contrasting patters. I saw a girl today in work who was wearing a delightful outfit similar to the one above and below. She had it all right.

Bag.

Not to keen on the ones above however.

Who else is so excited for the new series to start!?

the things that go bump in the night.

It is fair to say that the 'un-dead' is extremely 'in'.

A trend with young and old alike.

I am a sucker for fantasy. A sucker to the point that I have The Zombie Survival Guide that Max Brooks published in 2002. Which I bought after seeing the film Zombieland, which by the way was pretty damn awesome. Any film with Bill Murray in it has to be. Anyway I was flicking through it this morning (just in case I met a zombie on the Perth Road) and thought I would share a few bits and bobs...

Don't get me started on Twilight.

If there was anything that was ever more fashionable.

I am in love with it and I am not ashamed. not at all.

I am reading Breaking Dawn again.

I really don't like Jacob. Did anyone else think that in Eclipse, he looked dead smug in every scene he was in.

I'm sorry if you are team Jacob. But vampires are so much hotter.

So much.

Tzatziki.

So I decided to spend some money today. I went for a daunder to Lidle after work and picked up a few treats. I was dreaming of Greek food all day so I decided to make Tzatziki (and if I were talking in person to you right now that would have come out as 'tatssssikkkkki'. I am not good at pronouncing hard words). Tzatziki I only had for the first time when I was in Greece last year and I actually fell in love with this refreshing cucumber dip.

Although sometimes when you love something so much it makes you feel a little sick...

And thats how I feel right now. I binged. And now my tummy is asking me 'why?'.

So to make my take on Tzatziki you will need;

Half a 500g tub of Greek Yogurt
1/2 Regular sized Cucumber
2 Cloves of Garlic
2 Tablespoons of Lemon Juice
1 Tablespoon of Olive Oil
1 Tablespoon of Balsamic Vinigar
Paprika
Pita Bread to serve

So, first empty the contents of the yogurt in to a mixing bowl. Dice up the cucumber to the size you would like them to be. I like little chunks, some people might like to grate it or dice it really really fine or having bigger chunks. You decide. Once mixed in with the yogurt, add garlic, lemon juice, olive oil and balsamic vinigar and mix all together. Add a few shakes of paprika, stir again, then it's ready.

So easy. Actually.

I add balsamic vinigar to add a little sweetness to the dip. I feel it compliments the garlic in the mixture. But it does change the colour to a light pinky brown (as apposed to the light yogurt colouring). It is ever so yummy.

Toast those pitas.

Burial.

burial.

Oh Winter.

From my work (new look) I would like the following things to prepare me for the cold change we will encounter in the months to come...

a lace top anyone? i have ten thousand and seventeen already. there was a navy one from primark i wanted but i never got around to buying it and you all know that if you don't buy it when you see it in that shop your opportunity is well and truly gone. But I have too much navy anyway.
Saying this, I would like this in maroon, but i'm not sure we'll get it in. We only have it in brown at the moment. I could also deal with it in light or dark grey. that would be ok.

Oh, there is a cute top that i want to go under it. it's nice.

THIS leather bomber jacket it s must have i must say. it also has a hood which could make you feel a little like a female ryan atwood.

and any one, or all of these leather lace up brogue heels.

especially this one (above).

but i'll take care when it is icy.

Oh winter.

A Diet of Toast.

So, I have no money. It's dire, so I am living off toast most of the time just now.

It's ok though. Things will look up eventually. But, as we speak I am starving.  Actually STARVING. So I thought since I haven't posted any recipe's for a little while, I will post some links and pictures of things I can only dream of eating right now.

All of these can be found on Jamie Oliver's website.

Britain's Next Top Model.

I am really enjoying BNTM this year. So far. Maybe it's cause Elle is so damn cool. Usually any of the NTM series that are not American are pretty ordinary, but I have good hopes for this series.

My favorite so far is Amelia.

Then Susan.

I loved the underwear in the shoot they did this week.  And the male models being oh so hot. I LOVED the pretty underwear by Fred and Ginger. However I felt the akwardness from the girls, the shoot was a bit over the top.

I want my money right where I can see it. In my closet.

Unfortunately my work requires me to wear the clothes they sell. And unfortunately I was finally given my staff discount card the other day. And finally, unfortunately I had to go spend money I definitely do not have on clothes to wear to work.

But maaaaaan was it good to buy some new stuff after a 5 week long drought. It has been nothing but an extreme form of torture.

Perhaps this first one is not work-worthy. But I love it, and it's so pretty.

This is my Frabbiteer dress. Next time I see them i'll wear it.

Oh, this. THIS.
This is probably my favorite. I bought it big to wear oversized with leggings. Or in the winter wooly tights. Its wonderful.

I love my new stuff and I am satisfied for now. But I fear if I have to walk past the new TopShop and subconsciously walk in one more time I may just explode.

How I wish money grew on trees.

The Devil Wears Prada.

As we speak I sit watching this film. I am green with envy over all the wonderful clothes. Especially these first two outfits. I want that jacket for winter.

Oh winter. You are nearly upon us. And I am waiting expectantly. And by then I may just have the money to spend on the clothes I want so badly.

It's been 5 weeks. 5 Long weeks. And the withdrawals are too much to bear. Especially after torturing myself in the new TopShop in town the other day.

Torture.

I particularly love Anne Hathaways hair here.
